Hello! I'm Anahita—call me Ani [ah-knee]. I've been working in Knowledge Management roles in the Architecture, Interiors, and Landscape design industry for 5+ years now. After working in both large international and small intimate firms, I am an independent Architecture Knowledge Management Consultant.
I began my archival career in Art History, working in the Smithsonian Museum archives promptly after completing my graduate program in DC. Always intrigued by spatial design processes after studying Japanese art and architecture, I was led to NYC for a role in architecture to crystalize the 30-year history of an international firm, designing and implementing new systems and workflows for internal efficiency as well as preparing content for a Phaidon monograph. From there, I had the opportunity to focus on Communications and Business Development specifically, writing award-winning submissions and further developing my expertise in information management for design studios.
I care deeply about helping design studios stay organized so they can more easily win work, making space for the fun stuff: creating spaces, environments, and objects for life.
In my free time, I’m a practicing artist and founding editor of the critical arts publication Dirt.
